This is the way we Make and Bake TRIFLE!

Hello!

Last weekend my sister invited us over for dinner, I said we'd bring dessert. I've been waiting for the opportunity to try out a recipe from the This is the way we Make and Bake book I bought in a charity shop for 40p. "This is the way we make and bake will help mothers to occupy their children in the kitchen in perfect safety. It has a host of mouth-watering recipes, especially chosen for their appeal to children as finished dishes, and for lots of activities to keep little fingers occupied" (Phil and Mary didn't help me make this)

Served with a generous squirt of squirty cream. The trifle went down a treat! It was ridiculously sweet and I loved it!! My sister had three bowls, her boyfriend is allergic so all the more for us, I had two bowls and the big lad was the only one that showed any control and one bowl.

Have a great weekend everyone! x

  7. That takes me back. I had this book and it's companion piece, 'This is the way we make and play.' That one is a kids craft book. I remember it showed you how to make a huge cardboard box elephant. Some lovely seventies styles in it as well.
