Sunday Sewing

Hello,
It feels like ages since I've sat down at my sewing machine and spent the afternoon sewing. It's a mixture of having a new routine, I'm enjoying chilling out at the minute and recharging my batteries plus the small matter of the craft room being upside turned upside down. The time was right on Sunday and Miss Jones came out of hibernation of an afternoon of blissful sewing, together we made a colourful cushion, I've missed the old girl....

New Cushions!

Saturday morning was spent sewing and photographing some new cushions for my Etsy shop It has felt like a long time since Miss Jones and I have spent any quality time together, but as the dark nights beckon I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of each other.

Mostly making.....CUSHIONS!

Hello!
I've been mostly reading blogs and not writing them this past week, there just isn't enough hours in the day! There has been a bit of time spare though for a spot of cushion making, with a stash of vinatge fabrics crying out to be transformed, there's always time to make a cushion or two! My favorite, the brown and yellow one, a classic 1970s colour combination, I'll be making a couple of these a quick living room update.

I could make cushions all day! but then there would be no room to move in our house.....


In other news....
We finally planted a cherry blossom tree,
Phil and Mary are getting on famously,
I added some bits to My Etsy Shop
Sister Bob turns 30 tomorrow : )

Ta-Dah Cushions!

Hello!
Last Saturday afternoon was spent beavering away in my newly sorted out craft room. My plans were to make some vintage fabric bunting, I laid out the triangles to take a photo and had a brainwave, I could sew these together and make a colourful circle cushion. A little experiment, I made one, loved it so much I made 3 more! Sew Colourful!

Is it snowing in your part of the world? I've battened down the hatches today! The snow has arrived here in Belfast, MEH!

Something I've been working on to brighten up a dull day. A very colourful cushion creation, For me it's therapeutic cutting out all the pieces then I love sewing them all back together and seeing the effect that it creates. I'm looking forward to making some new cushions this way but using different colour ways. I've added this cushion to my Etsy shop and hopefully in the coming weeks I'm going to get my crafting mojo on and add some more new exciting things.
