Merry kitschmas

Hello!
I hope you're all having a lovely Christmas!
Every year I collect more decorations for our tree, mostly I pick them up in charity shops. Here are a few of my favourites.
This year I've also made a kitsch Nativity scene, using a nectarine crate, tinsel and a few favourite kitsch creatures as Mary and Joseph, the three wise men and a shell baby Jesus.
I had to make a few changes after the big lad suggested Joseph was too girly and that I'd forgotten the Three Wise Men.
All lit up by the light of tea lights and the glow from the new lava lamp, a gift to the big lad after having broken his about 13 years ago.
Hope you're all having a great Christmas x

  1. They are adorable! I especially like your nativity scene and your cross eyed deer! My mum gets our old syllvanian families out every year and creates little snow scenes with them, so kitsch is very much part of our family Christmas too!
