If you've ever seen an odd woman looking too closely at walls in Belfast you'll probably have seen me. I've never really 'looked' at walls properly until a recent walk around East Belfast and the discovery of a wall full of engraved names, dates and pictures of ships, sailors and war planes.

Living room compromise
Hello!
Sometimes I'll get an idea for a change and it'll annoy me until I try it out, this ones been in the pipeline since August, I just haven't had the time. I suggested the change to the big lad and his reaction was "noooooooooooo, no more changes" then we agreed to compromise. So while the cat was out the mouse could play and I set about the changes then awaited his opinion.....

Alphabet Street photography challenge
Hello!
As you may have noticed I'm blogging a lot more from my phone these days, our lap top is on it's last legs and the whole process of putting photos onto the computer is taking way to much time, so for the time being it's blogging from the phone. I miss using the 'good camera' though, and the photographs are a million times better, must start saving for new lap top!!!

Go Retro Or Go Home
Hello,
Halloween is just around the corner and my thoughts are turning to this years costume. On the look out for some costume inspiration I popped into the citycentre on Saturday. I called into the Vintage store on Royal Avenue and found a rail full of gorgeous vintage dresses! The sign on the rail said perfect for Halloween except I'd wear any of these dresses any time of the year! Just as dogs are not just for Christmas, retro is not just for Halloween!

Instalove
Hello!
It was two summers ago at a family get together that my cousin Lynne who writes over at Papermash blog (find it on my sidebar) introduced me to the wonders of Instagram. I had signed up and taken one photograph but I didn't know where to go from there, lynne showed me how to follow people and find like minded people through hashtags . I've found so many vintage lovin', cat crazy, crafters, it's a very inspirational place! And I love having a photographic diary of the day to day. You'll find me on Instagram at hey_homewrecker
