Hello!
Autumn is my favourite season, the air, the sun, the trees, the colours, the smells, the tastes....
What I'm not loving is the amount of road kill I'm seeing on my travels this week, 2 foxes, one badger and a couple of unidentifiables. Last night while out for a stroll with the big lad we came face to face with a real fantastic Mr Fox, foxes are class, it had such a bushy tail, half squirrel, half cat. He looked hungry so we popped into a shop and bought him a packet of Buffalo Hunky Dorys but he'd disappeared when we came out. Please be careful when you're driving and look out for woodland friends when they're trying to cross the road!

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting about the Christmas swap, I went and signed up...how exciting! Only 76 more days to go till Christmas? Doesn't seem possible! Cute fox and living out in the country here in Texas...I hate to say, I almost don't even notice road kill anymore but I make sure not to contribute to it! I worry more about chicken hawks these days...sigh...we're down to 10 girls now...
Hi Kyrstal, YEAH! Glad you signed up, I'm looking forward to seeing who I get to send a present to. I have to say I was pretty worried about seeing the fox I hope he didn't smell the chickens off us! sorry to hear about your girls xx

DeleteI hate seeing dead animals by the side of the road, another reason for loving being a townie! That fox is adorable! x
