Kitchen Makeover Part 2

Hello,
Kitchen makeover is well under way, we've (or should I say the big lad) been busy painting all week, it takes a lot of coats of paint to cover dark blue, lesson well and truly learned! For the walls, white and mustard, I'm a big fan of mustard (the colour not the sauce)....Still another coat of white paint to do, such a difference it makes to the light in the room, it looks so bright! The disastrous blackboard paint on tiles has been transformed with a Mosaic using smashed up vintage plates, therapeutic and pretty. still to sort out the tiles behind the cooker....

More kitchen makeover coming soon!

Hope you're all having a great weekend xx

  1. Love the mosaic, you get to enjoy those pretty retro plates every time you go in the kitchen now.
Mustard is a favourite colour of mine too.

  2. I love your mosaic splashback - it looks wonderful. Fab job. I like mustard too - it's a great colour. Are you going to paint your cupboards? My dilemma at the moment is finding the right knobs. I'm looking forward to seeing your kitchen (and my kitchen too for that matter!) when it's finished.
