Bom Dia!
We arrived home now from our holidays in Alvor yesterday, we had a really lovely time. I'd move there tomorrow for the sunshine and the fresh fruit alone, their lemons are AMAZING! The town of Alvor remains pretty quaint full of little tiled houses, there are a couple of main streets where most of the bars and restaurants are but the back streets are mostly tiled houses where the ladies chat to each other out of the shuttered windows and you'll find the men gather in the backstreet bars and cafes for shade from the sun. I loved the patterns and colours of the tiled houses, here's a few (ahem) pictures taken on a morning stroll around town.
I'm off the the North Coast for my friend Kitty's Hen party and we're going surfing, if I survive I'll share some more holidays pictures next week! Have a great weekend everyone xxx

A postcard from poolside
Hello!
We're on our holidays!!! Blogging from the sun lounger, temperature in sunny Portugal is around 28 degrees but there's a breeze, I need one hand to hold onto my hat! We're staying in a small town called Alvor, the people, the weather the food have made it a brilliant holiday so far , although I was looking forward to swimming in the sea but it's absolutely freezing and I had to come out after my hand went purple! Total relaxation, It's day six into the holiday and I've finished two books!!! I never take the time to read at home, apart from reading blogs of course! Anyway it's about time I reapplied the sunscreen, didn't realise I was white before I got my red bits! I'll try and bring some sunshine home with me xxx

A pom pom hangy thing
Hello!
I needed a little craft project to see me through the month of July so I made one pom pom everyday. The question is at the end of July I had 31 pom poms and what was I going to do with them? Make a pom pom hangy thing or as I told the big lad it's a pom pom dream catcher, it takes your bad dreams and turns them into rainbows! I used a big stick that brought home from an epic hill walk recently, I knew it would come in handy one day!
Hope you're all having a great week!
We're off on our holidays on Monday, maybe there will be a sun lounger blog post! xx

London loves
Hello! Thank you for all your comments on my last post, it makes blogging way more fun and it always makes my day to read them!
I'm blogging from Gatwick airport today, just waiting and people watching before our flight home. We've been in London for the weekend for friends Kate and Ciaran's wedding. It's been a really lovely weekend hanging out with friends. Before
the wedding we had time for a mooch round Brick Lane and Spitalfields market then onto the wedding in Clissold Park. The wedding was really relaxed, the sun shone, the craic was 90 and the music was great! Today we've taken things very easy, just walking around Brick Lane, taking in the sights and smells and lying about in Bethnal Green. A trip to London never fails to inspire me! I want to come back really soon....
If you like vintage clothes, Brick Lane is definitely the place to go, you could get lost in Blitz Vintage, go crazy in Rokit and lose it all in Beyond Vintage and they have a shop cat! Let's just say the suitcase came home a little heavier....
Back to porridge tomorrow!
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend xx
