Craft corner newcomers

Some newcomers to the craft corner in our hallway.

Trolley Dolly

Did your granny have one of these? I picked this one up from a charity shop in Newtownards for £3, a wheel fell off as i was bringing it back to the car and a nice couple ran after me to give it back! I'd been looking for one for ages and of now i've found one I see them everywhere.

Before. Messy! The painting in the background sums it up!
Trolley Dolly, works a treat as a dressing table and I've got my chair back.

stolen afternoon

I had an unexpected afternoon off work today and went to Greyabbey to the gorgeous vintage shop Vintage Homebird. The shop sells vintage and retro furniture and collectables - my dream shop! The lovely owner allowed me to take some photos to share and I couldn't come home empty handed so I bought this flowery coffee pot to cheer me up in the mornings.

tomato watch

I'm growing tomatoes (trying to grow tomatoes) there are lots of little flowers so hopefully lots of tomatoes!
This summer my dad built a veggie patch for us . If you want to be happy for an hour get drunk, if you want to be happy for a year fall in love, if you want to be happy for life take up gardening (chinese proverb) growing carrots , lettuce , scallions, rocket and corriander , yum !
