Today I took a walk with my friend Catherine and their new pup Apple. We headed to the lough shore of Lough Neagh where Apple met some new friends, terrorised the ducks and put a smile on everyones faces...

I'm home after 3 nights away, if you follow me on Instagram you'll see the sort of antics I get up to to keep my self amused in my hotel room, bubble hairdoos, does anyone else do this? We don't have a bath so it's a little luxury when I stay away with work, and bubble hairdoos are a lot of fun!
It's good to back in our cosy home....

Put a bird on it

Today I finished off my epic bird picture, my biggest one yet, one hundred and twenty one birds to be exact! The birds are made from vintage fabric and everyone is different. My favourite part of making my bird pictures is when I get to add the eyes, beaks and legs, each little bird seems to come to life....

I called into Refound today to drop off some new things I've made recently. It was great to catch up with Jill and her mum, it's been ages since I've been in. I'm the one who makes

Last night we watched the final episode of Breaking Bad. I'm not sure how to describe how I felt other than that I took to the craft room to gather my thoughts and made some Breaking Bad coasters as therapy. As I crafted as Badfinger blasted on repeat from downstairs as the big lad lamented, he probably knows the song of by heart now. Baby Blue will be what Don't Stop Believing was for the Sopranos, an epic song for an epic finish. For those of you who haven't watched the show, I won't spoil any of your viewing pleasure by talking about what happens, alls I'm sayin' is, all the hype, all the great reviews. it's true the show is AMAZING!! SO WATCH IT!!

Beach and Boot Sale

Hello!
Today was the perfect day for a drive to Dundrum for a mooch around the boot sale then to Tyrella for a walk along the beach. Sunny enough to feel warm, windy enough to blow the cobwebs away. The beach was pretty deserted apart from a few wind surfers making the most of the gorgeous day. On Friday I had all my hair cut off, so it's back to being super short, I'd forgotten that wind and short hair do not make for a good look, I must invest in some super strength hairspray for the coming windy months....Anyhow, the boot sale at Dundrum was packed, giddy from the smell of Dinky donuts and exhilarated by the sea air we set off to find treasure! The big lad bought three records for 2 pounds and I bought some dollies, a babycham glass and an Enid Blyton book for my friend to add to her collection, all delighted....

Have you found anything good at a boot sale recently?

 I'm off to make a pot of soup and to finish a picture that has been needed to be finished for a looooonnng time!

Damn Fine Coffee Cup Pots

Hello!
I have  (a hem...) a few coffee cups around the house and I like to find alternative uses for everyday items so I used some as little plant pots, they're perfect for little succulents. I filled my cups for a bathroom window sill garden....

What alternative uses do you use cups for?
