The chaotic craft room

Hello,

I doesn't seem that long ago that I was moving stuff around in the craft room to make space for the dolls house shelves. The dolls house making has come to a bit of a stand still, and the craft room has become a little bit untidy, but not in the I've been making a creative mess way but it's the room were we put stuff we're not using. Yesterday after work I decided enough was enough and I needed to claim back some space. I really enjoy making the miniatures but it was annoying me that I haven't done any making in ages! That sounds silly, getting annoyed but I'm the kind of person that wants everything done right now. I've moved stuff around again, mixing the things I use everyday with the miniatures I've made and instantly I feel calmer and so does the room.

The real dolls house is storage for bits and pieces of art and craft stuff, pretty and useful now too.

Hello! 

I've been feeling a burst if creativity recently and I've been enjoying making again. It all started when my Instagram page got 1000 followers, I wanted to say thanks so I did a giveaway of handmade things. That got the creative juices flowing, inspired a major craft room tidy up and I've been making ever since!

I'm currently going through my fabric stash.

And I've put my obsession with rainbows to use my making a bag of handmade goodies! I've added it to my etsy shop, which I plan to update soon with lots of stuff that I'm making.

Hello!

Vintage wallpaper is very hard to come by in Belfast of course you can buy it on the internet but it's usually pretty expensive and can only be bought in one off rolls. So you can imagine my excitement after a visit to Nobletts in Belfast (amazing wallpaper shop!!) finding a Swedish design wallpaper originally made in 1974. It was love at first sight! Nobletts has a wallpaper for everyone! People of Belfast do not wallpaper until you've visited!!! A roll was purchased and was put to use in project number one, another little craft room makeover! I've lost count how many times this room has changed! I added more crates, painted them all white, added some of the wallpaper and rearranged all my bits and bobs.

Lots of wallpaper left! So planning another little makeover with it very soon! I'll leave you with this, two other wallpapers that caught my eye, fabulous flamingo and colourful one that was right up my street! Have a great weekend everyone! 

Cr(e)ating space in the craft room

Hello!

The craft room has yet again gone through a little change. This time I've used some trusty apple crates and a lick of paint to add some more storage for nik naks. My mum and dad picked these up for me from a local garden centre that has an orchard beside it. It's all a bit ramshackle but I like it! I definitely like them better painted white because the stuff inside stands out better but I ran out of white paint, I'll add that to my to do list.
