Alphabet Art

Hello!
I'm really enjoying working on lots of creative projects at the minute. This weekend I finished this alphabet picture for a nursery, all the letters are cut from colourful vintage fabrics.

I LOVE MAKING!

Girls just wanna have fun

I wanna......
 cycle to work, see my family more, eat more greens, find my balance, drink more water, see my friends more, learn sign language, join a yoga class, volunteer in my community, spend more time with the big lad, meditate, run again, master the art of swimming with my face under water, paint my family protrait, dance in the rain, rescue more chickens, visit family in America, start a sewing club, do more chores and HAVE FUN!!

Nice Things

Hello!

My friends have been very good to me this week. Kat gave me a new lens for my camera, I love it! Deborah brought me a cool lantern plant, a cute little plastic deer to add to my collection and a trio of colourful micro bags then to top it all off I got a parcel of joy in the post full of fun from Emma, I love it all and i am utterly spoilt rotten! Thank you so much y'all xxxx

My life is about to change, Ahhhhhh!!! In a whirlwind I got offered a new job and I acccepted! It's going to be very strange after 12 years. I'm scared and excited but feeling ready for a change...

The Gruesome Twosome

Hello! 

Some people who live with cats say their pets leave them "presents" I came home to find Phil had done a dump on the bathroom floor and Mary had puked on the bedroom floor, dirt birds. Take note Phil and Mary I was thinking something more along the lines of a weekend away or a massage next time you're giving me a present

 

I did get some really nice presents too this week, a surprise package in the post from Oooh Betty I can't wait to show you what Emma sent me! Thank you so much Emma!

A smashing weekend

Hello!
Phil went mad chasing after a fly, did a ninja jump to the mantle piece and smashed one of my Autumn vases, naughty boy! All is not lost as it's been saved for the (I'll get round to it one of these days) fixing of the kitchen tiles. When one piece of vintage gets broken a door opens for a new piece of vintage (new moto) and so the mantle piece has two new additions, we stopped at a boot sale on the way home from our friends wedding and came home with a pair of cats (can't resist), some bowls for smashing (sorry vintage crockery lovers!) and a little picture of a praying girl and her kitten....

Another one bites the dust

Our hallway, it's been so long since I've painted, a new family portrait is on my to do list after the kitchen tiles are sorted

All the girls were preening today, Betty and Beryl had a Sunday bath in the vegetable patch and I had a short back and sides a la sister Bob, I was worried she would do a Sinead O'Connor on me as pay back for all the times I cut her hair badly, but she did a good job.
