Grow yer own

Fresh from the veg patch! However a bit more practice is needed where carrot growing is concerned. The seedlings were planted too close together and as a result they've grown twisted and a bit on the stumpy side, but hey, it's the taste that matters. Any advice on carrot growing very welcome!

Sofa Bed

Spare bedroom, using a folded up duvet to make a back rest, cover the lot with a throw and add some cushions. Bed to sofa.

Same bed, different day. The throw is from John Lewis and the crochet blanket was made by mum. Wee Ted can be found snuggled up in the cushions.

I'm turning into one of those cat people! Bought this playful kitty from a charity shop in Ballymena for £1. Mary seemed to think it was real. I can see a collection starting here!

Did your granny have one of these? I picked this one up from a charity shop in Newtownards for £3, a wheel fell off as i was bringing it back to the car and a nice couple ran after me to give it back! I'd been looking for one for ages and of now i've found one I see them everywhere.
