Hello!
Our kitchen makeover has been a gradual one that has taken nearly a year to complete. After the smashed up vintage plates mosaic was finished the next job on the list was to paint all the kitchen cupboards white. I've wanted to do this since we moved in 5 years ago but it always seemed like such a big job, actually it wasn't. Instead of rushing it we took off a couple of doors at a time, sanded them and painted them, we had the whole kitchen done in 2 weeks. Then the floor, I loved the old tiles but they were extremely dirty and the floor was always freezing, we didn't have much cash so we just went for cheapo sticky tiles and they do the job just fine. Our kitchen looks so much brighter now, I especially tidied up for these photos too, just for you!
Next room on the DIY list is the shower room, it badly needs a.lick of tile paint to freshen it up, I'll get round to it!
Hope you're all having a good start to the week xxx

ReplyDeletehey, I love the trip back to my seventies teenage years! i still live in a seventies home; you need my funky patterned beige and tan seventies floor and mustard yellow kitchen sink ) (all still functional LOL). Almost no one thought of white kitchen cabinets back then though- they were all brown panel stuff-the darker the better. Loving the orange dishpan in the sink, Memories!
